Fischer, Annie (1914–1995)
Hungarian pianist. Born in Budapest, Hungary, July 5, 1914; died 1995; studied with Ernst von Dohnanyi at Franz Liszt Conservatory in Budapest.
Won 1st prize in Budapest's International Liszt Competition (1933); over the years, mastered an imposing repertoire and was particularly known for her Beethoven and Mozart recordings.
