Pārājika-dhamma. The four most serious offences against the Buddhist monastic code of discipline (prātimokṣa), the penalty for which is lifelong expulsion from the Order (saṅgha). They are (i) sexual intercourse, (ii) serious theft, (iii) murder, and (iv) falsely claiming to have attained supernatural powers.
