Robert de Handlo , English music theorist who flourished in the early 14th century. He wrote Régule cum maximis Magistri Franconis cum additionibus aliorum musicorumcompilate a Roberto de Handlo (1326; ed. by L. Dittmer, Brooklyn, 1959, and by P. Lefferts, Lincoln, Nebr., 1990), a detailed exposition of late ars antiqua developments in notation.
