Nemiroff, Isaac, American composer and teacher; b. Cincinnati, Feb. 16, 1912; d. N.Y., March 5, 1977. He studied at the Cincinnati Cons., and with Stefan Wolpe at the N.Y. Coll. of Music, then taught at various music schools in N.Y. and Brooklyn.
