American daredevil. Born around 1868; death date unknown.
On November 28, 1886, along with her partner George Hazlett and 500 pounds of sand, Sadie Allen had a successful and memorable ride over Niagara Falls in a barrel. The 18-year-old from Buffalo suffered only slight bruises.
