American golfer. Born Mary Dorothy Kirby, Jan 15, 1920, in West Point, GA.
Won the Georgia state championship five times; won the USGA Women's Amateur (1951); member of Curtis Cup team (1948, 1950, 1952, 1954). Inducted into Georgia Golf Hall of Fame (1989).
