Gacioch, Rose (1915–2004)
American baseball player. Name variations: "Rockford Rosie." Born Aug 31, 1915, in Wheeling, West Virginia; died Feb 9, 2004, in Clinton Township, Michigan.
American pioneer in women's baseball who played right field for the South Bend Blue Sox (1944–45) and the Rockford Peaches (1945–55). Voted to the All-Star team as a pitcher (1952), utility infielder (1953), and pitcher (1954).
