Swedenborg Society

Founded in London, England, in 1810 to translate, print, and publish the works of Emanuel Swedenborg (1688-1772). The society organizes meetings and conferences and assists the needs of the New Church, which has grown up around Swedenborg's teachings, by keeping Swedenborg's writings in print. The society maintains a reference and lending library, with a reading room, at the London headquarters, 20 Blooms-bury Way, London, WC1A 2TH. Website: http://www.swedenborg.org.uk.
