National College Scholarship Award (Undergraduate/Scholarship)

Purpose: To provide financial assistance to African American students in preparing them to reach their fullest potential through higher education. Focus: General education. Qualif.: Applicants must be African American high

school seniors with a minimum GPA of 3.0 who will be pursuing a bachelor's degree at any accredited postsec-ondary institution in the United States. Criteria: Applicants will be evaluated based on scholastic performance and active community service.

Funds Avail.: $1,500 to $2,500. To Apply: Applicants must submit an essay, resume, academic transcript, letters of recommendation and confirmation of 60 hours or more of active community service. Deadline: March 14.
