Jones, Euine Fay
Jones, Euine Fay (1921–2004). American architect. Well-known in AR (both Bill Clinton and his future wife, Hillary Rodham, lived in houses designed by him), he was a disciple of F. L. L. Wright and of Goff (with whom he worked for a time). Perhaps his best works were his own house at Fayetteville, AR (1956), the Orval Faubus house, AR (1964), and the Thorncrown Chapel near Eureka Springs, AR (1978–80—acclaimed as one of the five best buildings designed by any C20 US architect). Most of his works were houses, chapels, and churches, and won numerous awards.
