SIDELIGHTS:

David Stidworthy told CA: "My primary motivation for writing is to document and critique motion pictures that have enriched my life. My work is influenced by the actors, producers, and directors who are obscure or who have not received the fullest measure of wide recognition. My writing has been inspired by early impressions of films that I saw when I was young and a driving curiosity about pictures I either haven't seen yet or didn't view until long after I'd heard about them. My creative purpose is to validate and help chronicle for posterity motion pictures that have been unfairly maligned or overlooked."
