Lloyd, John, English or Welsh composer; b. c. 1475; d. London, April 3, 1523. He became a priest in the Chapel Royal in 1505. About 1510 he was made a Gentlemen there. In 1520 he went to France, and then journeyed to the Holy Land. Lloyd was the composer of a distinguished Mass, O quam suavis.
