Star Trek: Nemesis
Star Trek: Nemesis ★★ 2002 (PG-13)
The venerable (some may say dusty) franchise ends(?) its “Next Generation” incarnation with this disappointing outing. After crew members Riker and Troi get hitched, the Enterprise heads to her homeworld for a celebration, but is sidetracked by the discovery of a dismantled prototype of Data. Picard then receives word of the Romulans' intention to negotiate a peace with the Federation. He smells a rat, and he's right. The leader of the Romulans is actually from Romulus's sister planet Remus, he's a clone of Picard, and he's mad. MAD, I TELL YOU!! Stewart brings his usual gravitas to the role of Picard, even he can't save this snooze-fest that even tried the patience of hard-core Trekkers. 116m/C VHS, DVD, UMD .
