Innocent Blood
Innocent Blood ★★ 1992 (R)
A mediocre modern-day vampire/gangster combo with the beautiful (though redeyed) Parillaud as the woman with a taste for someone “Italian.” Unfortunately, she doesn't finish off her latest meal—mobster Loggia—who finds being undead very useful to his vicious work. LaPaglia plays the bewildered, love-struck cop involved with the vamp. Parillaud appears nude in several scenes and the gore and violence are stomach-turning. 112m/C VHS, DVD . Anne Parillaud, Anthony LaPaglia, Robert Loggia, David Proval, Don Rickles, Rocco Sisto, Kim Coates, Chazz Palminteri, Angela Bassett, Tom Savini, Frank Oz, Forrest J Ackerman, Sam Raimi, Dario Argento, Linnea Quigley; D: John Landis; W: Michael Wolk; C: Mac Ahlberg; M: Ira Newborn.
