Duchess of Saxe-Gotha. Born on October 10, 1619; died on December 20, 1680; daughter of Elizabeth of Brunswick-Wolfenbuttel (1593–1650) and John Philipp, duke of Saxe-Altenburg; married Ernst I, duke of Saxe-Gotha, on October 24, 1636; children: Frederick I (b. 1646), duke of Saxe-Gotha; Berharnd I (b. 1649), duke of Saxe-Meiningen; John Ernst (b.1658), duke of Saxe-Coburg-Saalfeld; Ernst (b. 1655), duke of Saxe-Hilburghausen.
