Maxburretia (family Palmae) A genus of fan palms which grow in small clumps. Male and hermaphrodite flowers occur in panicles on different plants. The flowers are fragrant, and have 3 free carpels. The fruits are thinly fleshy. There are 3 isolated species, each restricted to a few limestone hills in the Malay peninsula.
