Drake, Betsy (1923–)
American actress. Born Sept 11, 1923, in Paris, France, to American parents; m. Cary Grant (actor), 1949 (div. 1962).
Made film debut in Every Girl Should be Married (1948), followed by Dancing in the Dark, Pretty Baby, The Second Woman, Room for One More, Will Success Spoil Rock Hunter? and Intent to Kill, among others; directed a psychodrama therapy project at UCLA which resulted in her novel Children, You're Very Young (1971). Survived the sinking of the Andrea Doria cruise ship.
