SPOOM Research Grants (Graduate/Grant)
Purpose: To provide financial assistance to researches on mills or milling-related subjects. Focus: Preservation. Qualif.: Program is open to individuals seeking support for their research on mills or milling-related subject. Applicants must be active members of SPOOM; must be full-time students and in good standing. Criteria: Awards are granted based on the significance of the contribution that the proposed project will make to the preservation or understanding of mills or milling; conception, definition, organization and description of the requested project; likelihood that the ap- plicants will complete the entire project; and support of a mill related group with the eligibility criteria.
Funds Avail.: No specific amount. Number Awarded: 1.To Apply: Applicants must prepare a one-page outline of the project; official graduate transcript; resume detailing applicable work experiences; and must complete application form available in the SPOOM office or website. Deadline: September 1.
