maxterm
maxterm (standard sum term) A sum (OR) of n Boolean variables, uncomplemented or complemented but not repeated, in a Boolean function of n variables. With n variables, 2n different maxterms are possible. The complement of any maxterm is a minterm. See also standard product of sums.
