Iphigénie en Aulide (Iphigenia in Aulis). Opera in 3 acts by Gluck to lib. by Du Roullet after Racine's play based on Euripides. Prod. Paris 1774; Oxford 1933; Philadelphia 1935. Gluck used three numbers from Don Juan in this score. Operas on same subject by Caldara (1718), Porpora (1735), Jommelli (1751), Sarti (1777), Soler (1779), Zingarelli (1787), and Cherubini (1788).
