Daughter of the Elector Palatine. Name variations: Hedwig Elizabeth Amelia of Pfalz-Neuburg. Flourished in the late 1600s; born Hedwig Elizabeth; daughter of Philip William, Elector Palatine, and possibly Elizabeth Amalia of Hesse (1635–1709) or, more likely, Anna Constancia (1619–1651); married James Sobieski (son of John III Sobieski and Marie Casimir); children: five, including Clementina Sobieski (1702–1735).
