At World championships, won a team gold medal (2000, 2001, 2004) and placed 2nd in singles (1999, 2003); placed 1st in ITTF Pro Tour ranking for singles (2002, 2003); won gold medals for table tennis singles and doubles (with Wang Nan) at Athens Olympics (2004).
