Winter, Joanne (1924–)
American baseball player. Born Nov 24, 1924, in IL; never married.
Joined the Racine Belles of the All-American Girls Baseball League (1943); ended the 1946 season with a 22-10 record, striking out 183 batters, and pitched 63 consecutive shutout innings, a record that still stands.
