Statham, Edith May (1853–1951)
New Zealand preservationist. Born April 13, 1853, at Bootle, Lancashire, England; died Feb 13, 1951, in St Heliers, New Zealand; dau. of William Stratham (lawyer) and Ellen Allen (Hadfield) Stratham.
Active in Victoria League, and worked to restore graves of soldiers who had died during New Zealand wars of 1840s and 1860s; also worked with Medical Service Corps of National Reserve.
