American basketball player. Born June 4, 1974, in Logan, OH; graduate of Ohio State, 1996.
Guard; finished collegiate career at Ohio State as Big Ten Conference's all-time career scoring leader—male or female—with 2,437 points; played for Columbus Quest of the ABL; after folding of ABL, allocated to the Minnesota Lynx of the WNBA (1999); set 7 single-season WNBA records (2001); won team World championships (1998, 2002); won a team gold medal at Sydney Olympics (2000) and a team gold medal at Athens Olympics (2004); became the 1st US woman to score 5,000 points in professional basketball career (2005).
