At Barcelona Olympics, won a bronze medal in coxless pairs (1992); during 9-year rowing career, won 14 national championships and 4 World championship silver medals; was a member of the crew of America 3 which competed for the America's Cup (1995), resulting in her book, Making Waves (1996).
