Rentoul, Annie Isobel (c. 1855–1928)

Australian artist. Born Anne Isoble Rattray in South America, c. 1855; died in Hawthorne, Melbourne, 1928; m. John Laurence Rentoul (Presbyterian moderator-general and professor of theology); children: 6, including artist Ida Rentoul Outhwaite (1888–1960) and writer Annie Rattray Rentoul (1882–1978).

An artist in her own right, collaborated with daughter Ida in creating Mollie's Staircase (1906).
