Pearson, Issette (fl. 1893)

English golfer. Name variations: Isette or Issette Pearson Miller. Born in London, England, into the well-known Pearson publishing family; m. the son of a Lancashire cotton baron, 1912.

Led in the formation of the Ladies Golf Union (LGU) in London (April 19, 1893), which developed a handicapping system and held the 1st Women's British Amateur championship.
