New Zealand singer. Name variations: Elizabeth Widdop. Born Elizabeth Widdop, Feb 10, 1846, in London, England; died Mar 1, 1924, in New Zealand; dau. of William Widdop (coachman) and Hannah (Byatt) Widdop; m. William Frederick Parsons (builder), 1864; children: 13.
Immigrated with family to New Zealand (1855); a soprano, joined Wellington Choral Society (1860), and St. Paul's choir (1861), and performed regularly at Theatre Royal.
