Moroccan poet. Born 1952 in Marrakech, Morocco; died 1977 in Casablanca, Morocco.
Taught English in Rabat; joined National Union of Moroccan Students (UNEM) and Marxist-Leninist organization Ila Al Amam; arrested (1976) and sentenced to 7 years solitary confinement; died during prison hunger strike; poems and prose published as Poèmes, Lettres, Ecrits de Prison (1978).
