Russian ballet dancer. Born Jan 6, 1799, in St. Petersburg, Russia; died Jan 26, 1848, in St. Petersburg.
Studied in St. Petersburg with Charles-Louis Didelot, with whom she continued to work throughout career; created principal roles in numerous works by Didelot, including his Acis et Galatée (1816), Le Calife de Bagdad (1818) and Russlan et Ludmilla (1824).
