Canadian cyclist and speedskater. Born Sept 27, 1972, in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada.
Began career as a speedskater, then added competitive cycling (1990); won bronze cycling medals in indiv. road race and indiv. time trial at Atlanta Summer Olympics (1996); won a bronze medal for 5000-meter speedskating at Salt Lake City Winter Olympics (2002), the 2nd speedskater to win medals in Winter and Summer games; won a gold medal for 5000 meters at Torino Olympics (2006).
