Hill, Debra (1950–2005)
American film producer. Born Oct 11, 1950, in Haddonfield, NJ; died of cancer, Mar 7, 2005, in Los Angeles, CA; dau. of Jilda and Frank Hill.
With John Carpenter, co-wrote and co-produced the classic horror film Halloween (1978); formed Hill/Obst Productions with Lynda Obst (1985), then Debra Hill Productions (1988); also produced The Fog (1980), Escape from New York (1981), The Dead Zone (1983), Gross Anatomy (1989), The Fisher King (1991), Escape from L.A.(1996) and Crazy in Alabama (1999), among others.
