Countess of Lennox. Born around 1480; daughter of James Hamilton, 1st Lord Hamilton (d. 1479), and Mary Stewart (d. 1488, daughter of James II of Scotland and Mary of Guelders ); married Matthew Stewart, 2nd earl of Lennox; children: John Stewart, 3rd earl of Lennox (murdered by royal architect James Hamilton of Finnart in 1536).
