African-American jazz pianist and singer. Name variations: Sadie Goodson Colar. Born c. 1900; sister of Billie Pierce and Ida Goodson; m. George "Kid Sheik" Colar (trumpeter), c. 1980.
New Orleans jazz pioneer, performed with sisters Ida and Billie as the Goodson Sisters; began playing with New Orleans bands (1920s); also played with the Sammy Rimington Jazzmen; at 93, was still appearing at Preservation Hall.
