Canadian-American baseball player. Name variations: Dottie Ferguson Key. Born Feb 17, 1923, in Virden, Manitoba, Canada; died May 8, 2003, in Rockford, Illinois; m. Donald L. Key, 1949; children: Dona Ericksen.
Was North American speeds-kating champion (1939); played pro-baseball for 10 seasons with the Rockford Peaches (1945–55). Inducted into Manitoba Baseball Hall of Fame (1998) and Canadian Baseball Hall of Fame.
