Csák, Ibolya (b. 1915)

Hungarian high jumper. Name variations: Csak or Czak; Ibolya Kádárné. Born Jan 6, 1915, in Budapest, Hungary.

At Berlin Olympics (1936), won a gold medal after a drawn-out duel with England's Dorothy J. Tyler ended in a jump off, because she had less failures at that height than Tyler (had a later rule applied for deciding ties, Tyler would have been the champion).
