Psychorrhagic Diathesis
Psychorrhagic Diathesis
Formidable term used by psychical researcher F. W. H. Myers for his theory of phantasmal appearances, a psychic faculty of detaching elements of personality and transforming by them a certain part of space into a phantasmogenetic center. In this center, in a manner not material or optical, the phantasm of the psychorrhagist appears and may become collectively visible.
