Stropharia
Stropharia (family Strophariaceae) A genus of fungi, with mushroom-shaped fruit bodies in which the fleshy cap bears a separable pellicle and is often slimy. The stipe is not readily broken from the cap and has an annulus. The gills become brown with maturity. Stropharia species are found in grassland, on dung, etc.
