Sphecoidea
Sphecoidea (bees, digger wasps, sand wasps; order Hymenoptera, suborder Apocrita) Superfamily containing two families of hunting wasps, Ampulicidae and Sphecidae, and 11 families of bees, Andrenidae, Anthophoridae, Apidae, Colletidae, Ctenoplectridae, Fideliidae, Halictidae, Megachilidae, Melittidae, Oxaeidae, and Stenotritidae.
