Proetida An order of Trilobita that lived from the Ordovician to Permian. The glabella (see CEPHALON) was large and clearly defined, often with genal spines, the thorax had 8–10 segments, and the pygidium had furrows and was not spiny. The order contained 2 superfamilies.
