Moringuidae
Moringuidae (worm eel; subclass Actinopterygii, order Anguilliformes) A small family of eel-like marine fish that have a very elongate, cylindrical body. The mouth and eyes are rather small, and the pectoral fins minute. The low dorsal and anal fins are near the tail and confluent with the tail fin. There are about 10 species, found in the Indo-Pacific region and the western Atlantic.
