Laetiporus
Laetiporus (family Polyporaceae) A genus of fungi in which the fruit body is spongy or softly corky in texture, and bears sulphur-yellow or coral-red pores. The generative hyphae lack clamp connections. Species are found on living or dead timber. See also SULPHUR FUNGUS.
