Aulorhynchidae (aubemouth; subclass Actinopterygii, order Gasterosteiformes) A family of marine coastal fish that have a very elongate body and tube-like snout. The first dorsal fin consists of about 25 short, isolated spines. They occur in the northern Pacific.
