Apodacea
Apodacea (subphylum Echinozoa, class Holothuroidea) A subclass of sea cucumbers that have simple or digitate tentacles. The tube feet are reduced or absent, there are no pharyngeal retractor muscles, and the test is vestigial. Apodaceans first appeared in the Carboniferous.
