RODENSKY, SHEMUEL
RODENSKY, SHEMUEL (1902–1989), Israeli actor. Born in Poland, Rodensky was an actor with Habimah and played a variety of roles, often Jewish folk types. After playing Tevya in Fiddler on the Roof in Israel, he did the same in West Germany to high praises. In 1984 he was awarded the Israel Prize for theater arts.
