Quas Primas
QUAS PRIMAS
A papal encyclical promulgated Dec. 11, 1925, by Pius XI to institute the Feast of Christ the King. In setting up the feast, Pius XI wrote that observance of Christ's royal rights, particularly those over human society, would prove the most effective answer to the challenge of secularism and communism.
