GELLÉRT, OSZKÁR
GELLÉRT, OSZKÁR (1882–1967), Hungarian poet and journalist. One of the editors of Nyugat, Gellért at first wrote biblical and religious verse but later turned to radical themes. His collections include Ötven év verseiből ("Selections from Fifty Years," 1952), Emberség, Szerelem ("Humanity, Love," 1957) and Egy író élete ("The Life of a Writer," 1958).
