Yaum al-Dīn
Yaum al-Dīn. The Day of Judgement in Islam, succeeding immediately the day of resurrection (yaum al-Qiyāma), so that the two can be regarded as parts of the same event, and are often virtually synonymous. It is the day when each person's deeds will be weighed on an exact balance (Qurʾān 7. 8 f.; 21. 47; 23. 103 f.; 101. 6–9)
