Ratnakūṭa or Mahāratnakūṭa (Skt., ratna, ‘jewel’ + kūṭa, ‘mountain’). Collection of Buddhist Mahāyāna scriptures. Although only four works are now extant in the original Skt. (Ratnakūṭasūtra, Rāṣṭrapālaparipṛcchā, Sukhāvatīvyūha, and Aṣṭasahāsrikāprajñāpāramitā), both Tibetan and Chinese sources assign forty-nine short titles to this collection.
